CONVERSATION + AWARENESS + CHANGE
IMPACT Red's mission is to start, encourage and facilitate honest conversations about HIV/AIDS that will raise awareness and empower noticeable change for those living with the disease and those who care for them.
WHO WE ARE
IMPACT Red was formed in April of 2010, to walk in the 25th Annual AIDS Walk New York. Inspired by advertising executive Tyler Helms’s public disclosure and advocacy around living with HIV, team IMPACT Red quickly formed into one of the most successful teams that year. In the past 3 years IMPACT Red has raised over $175,000 for AIDS related causes and most importantly has started countless conversations.
Tyler’s goal was simple, to start a conversation in places it didn’t exist before. Its a conversation that is about more than HIV/AIDS -- its about community, human compassion, and the power of shared experiences.
IMPACT Red continues its efforts at AIDS Walk New York and supporting the important conversation around HIV and AIDS year round.

WHAT WE DO
IMPACT Red is grounded in the simple believe that conversations can and will save lives. The conversation around HIV/AIDS is not a new one, it has in some form been carried out for over 30 years.
Everything we do revolves around this conversation, from raising money at AIDS Walk New York, supporting the efforts of other HIV/AIDS advocacy groups, and most importantly bringing the conversation to places it didn't exist before.
We know that while this conversation begins with HIV/AIDS it is part of a much larger collective dialogue – one that is human.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
Just like the disease, this conversation has changed, wavered in its presence but never lost the importance. IMPACT Red works to kept this conversation going, supporting the efforts of countless others on the front lines of research, individuals impacted by loss, those living with HIV today. The easiest thing you can do is have a conversation today.
